The Workshop Grants program is not currently open for new proposals. We’ll be revising the guidelines and then reopening the program soon under the framework of our 2018-2021 grant from the Mellon Foundation. An announcement will be made on AMICAL Connect when the program reopens and new proposals may be submitted.
Through its Consortial Training & Workshop Grants (abbreviated hereafter as “Workshop Grants”), AMICAL provides financial support for the organization and delivery of thematic professional development events targeting participation by multiple member institutions.
Looking for funding for an event aimed at a single member institution or locale? See the Small Grants program.
Funding is provided through the consortium’s 2015-2018 grant from the Mellon Foundation, “Promoting AMICAL Library Leadership, Faculty Collaboration and Digital Initiatives to Strengthen Liberal Arts Abroad.” AMICAL Administration, together with the Grant Funding Review Committee, coordinate event selection and planning with the grant objectives, with the consortium’s strategic priorities, and with existing organizational commitments.
