Students can demonstrate their information literacy skills as well as their understanding of research methods by generating digital content. In a course of digital literacies, students learn to evaluate online information, find and select scholarly literature. They also build on their ICT skills by creating digital projects. I have found that digital projects can be a demonstration of an ability to conduct research. The talk will emphasise on how students can be effectively guided in the process of acquiring research methods skills, and digital skills. The talk is a proposal for integration of information and digital literacies into the curriculum.
