Expectations of participants
All participants will be expected to commit to the following:
Before the event:
- Collect library data prior to attending the workshop which will be used to develop a benchmarking template for all AMICAL institutions. Types of data may include: volumes/titles; reference questions; circulation; presentations; etc.
After the event:
- Act as a mentor for a library director who may not be able to attend and commit to knowledge-sharing activities planned by workshop organizers/speakers, as well any pre- and post-event homework.
- Locally, take your learning back to your own institution, and have impact through workshops, newsletters, etc.
- Share some of what you have learned or how you have applied it through conference presentations/panels/workshops related to library assessment at other AMICAL events, webinars, etc. in the annual conference (You can collaborate with other AMICAL members on a panel or joint presentation)
