Online schedule & Zoom links
- You can view the online schedule and add sessions to your calendar to make sure you remember to attend.
- Note: the Zoom link in the calendar events requires an AMICAL account to access. But if you don’t have one, don’t worry. We’ll share a direct link by email to all registrants on the morning of each conference day!
Attending sessions via Zoom
- We’ll be using Zoom for all sessions, so make sure you have Zoom installed and updated to the latest version.
- On the morning of each day you will receive an email with Zoom links to join that day’s sessions, as well as any updates or resources we may have to share.
- Use your full name when signing in to Zoom. (This is critical if you wish to request a certificate of attendance after the event.)
- We encourage you to use a webcam so other attendees can see you. Joining from a quiet space and using a headset, earbuds or a good microphone will allow you to participate more easily during the Q&A.
- Zoom’s automated captions can be enabled for those who need them.
- Do not use AI assistants/transcription services, as we will remove them from the session.
- All keynotes and presentations will be recorded. We will record the workshops and interactive sessions if it makes sense to do so.
Messaging AMICAL colleagues & staff during the event
- AMICAL attendees will be able to message individuals or the community during and after the conference through AMICAL Connect, the consortium’s online forum. You will need to sign up for an AMICAL account, if you don’t already have one.

Participation data
- We can issue certificates of attendance to those who attend the sessions live, as long as they sign in to Zoom with their full name. Use the same form of your name for all sessions. We are not able to certify attendance for watching the recordings, or for multiple colleagues who attend from the same device. You will be able to request your certificate via a form after the conclusion of the Conference.
- We will share registration data with session organizers (including sponsors) to facilitate follow-up after the event.
