Committees

AMICAL members have created the following committees and groups in order to better organize ourselves around the goals and objectives of the consortium:

• Coordinating Committee providing oversight and direction for AMICAL's operation
• Small Grant Committee reviewing and approving all applications for AMICAL Small Grant awards
• Working Groups providing a forum for exchange of ideas and a structure in which to develop specific consortial projects
  • E-Resources
    Consortial access to, or purchasing of, electronic resources: databases, e-books, etc.
    
  • ILL & DD
    Identifying and implementing tools, resources, services, and policies to support and enhance interlibrary loan and document delivery, among AMICAL institutions and with institutions worldwide
  • Institutional Research
  • Instruction & Information Literacy
    Collaboration on standards, best practices, and other topics related to information literacy, instruction, and the curriculum
  • Professional Development
    Identifying and creating opportunities and resources for the professional development of staff and faculty at AMICAL institutions
