I specialize in communicating the topics of climate change, ecology, and agriculture, to liberal arts and business majors. My research focuses on food security and climate change. One past project is the “The Greenhouse Gas Inventory of the Province of Siena” which was sponsored by the SPIn-Eco (Sostenibilità in Provincia di Siena mediante Indicatori Ecodinamici) project in the Tuscany. Another completed project includes a collaboration with the Understanding and Managing Biodiversity Programme, at Bioversity International (Maccarese, Italy), on an article addressing the importance of gene bank collections in facilitating adaptation to climate change.
