
Gohar Stepanyan
Assistant Professor of Finance
American University of Armenia
Gohar Stepanyan joined American University of Armenia in 2013, after spending one year at the IÉSEG School of Management in France and two years at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in Portugal. She holds an MBA from the David Eccles School of Business (University of Utah) and a PhD in Finance from the Krannert School of Management (Purdue University). In Armenia, Gohar worked for the Central Bank of Armenia, Ministry of Finance and Economy, in the private sector and in the field of microfinance. In the U.S., she had a summer internship with the American Express Company. In her free time, Gohar enjoys swimming, walking, attending cultural events and traveling.
