Marie Hakenberg

My academic background is in Islamic Studies (focus on modernity, post-Orientalist discourses) and (French) Sociology. The past five years I worked at Leipzig University as an Academic Assistant while finishing my PhD on Ismailis in the post-Soviet Pamirs.

I joined AUCA this semester, where I teach FYS and and a class on Muslim Civilization.
