An overview of recent and planned projects AMICAL and its members are engaged in to support the use of videoconferencing for inter-institutional collaborative teaching. We will discuss briefly: the updated AMICAL survey of videoconferencing infrastructure, collaborative support provided by AU Cairo for AU Paris' implementation of dedicated videoconferencing facilities, and a workshop on academic videoconferencing for AMICAL faculty planned for Fall 2012 at AU Cairo.
