Notes:

Academic librarians face a multitude of challenges in responding to economic, technological, and accountability demands.  At times we may feel tossed from crisis to crisis and without a strong foundation for decision making.  Engagement, Innovation, and Value are three principles that can serve as touchstones in today’s environment as we embrace the possibilities and potentialities that exist when responding to evolving information technologies, growing user needs, and challenging financial situations. Through these principles we can assess the value of library and information services and proactively seek our vibrant future path.
